This took forever to knit!! a month in a half i think. the pattern is the striped study shawl that you can find on ravelry. I had my boyfriend’s mother in mind the whole time I was knitting this. I pulled it out to work on it at the last family gathering to see what she would think. Of course she was in awe and excited to see me knitting it. Can’t wait to see her reaction when she receives it for xmas! I named it “eggplant shawl” because of the colors. I had a stash yarn that I thought I was never going to use that was lilac and light green variegated yarn. It gave me the idea to use some leftover green and purple stash yarn that I also thought I was never going to use. My stitch markers are little anatomically correct hearts.
